Blog: OSSA Conference and Exhibition 2018

I will be attending the OSSA Conference in Sandton from 1st – 4th February 2018 for the fifth year running and will be found on the IAPB Stall. I shall be showcasing IAPB in Africa, the newly launched IAPB Vision Atlas (Plus a few hard copies to distribute), the IAPB Standard List together with displaying some of the devices featured on the list (see below). Keeler have also very kindly donated 2 x Keeler Jazz Ophthalmoscopes which I will be giving away in a free prize draw.

Products on display

  • Arclight Mk 3: We are looking forward to the launch of the long awaited Mk3 Arclight Low Cost Ophthalmoscope / Otoscope. The new and greatly improved device will have a new pushbutton switch and a better quality bulb, plus a few other improvements. Mr William Williams who designed and created the device has informed me that it will be available on the market via The IAPB Standard List in quarter 1 of 2018 subject to final production
